GRATITUDE Malachi 2:1-5 Devotional:- “if you do not listen, and if you do not set your heart to honor my name,” says the Lord Almighty, “I will send curse upon you, and l will curse your blessings. Yes I have already cursed them, because you have not set your heart to honor me.” (V. 2) NIV In such a period like this one of the things God expects from you and me ls that we should be grateful unto Him. It is a great thing that the Lord has kept us to See the end of another year. You need to know that countless number of people have been swallowed by death in the year. Even if many things are yet to be where you expected them to be, death will never be a better option for you and your family. God has kept you because He still has a good plan for you. He still sees a great future ahead of you. So be grateful. In the scripture we read today God expected the priest of which you are one (I Peter 2:9) to be grateful unto Him but they did not, so He cursed their blessings. May your blessi...

KEEP SPEAKING IT

KEEP SPEAKING IT

Joshua 1:1-9
Devotional:- “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (V. 8) NKJV

The word only becomes potent as you keep speaking it. This is because the force that carries out the word hears you as though you have decreed. Our words are powerful because they are the expression of our spirit (Matthew 12:34). Until the word is spoken, it remains unfulfilled.

God says to Joshua that he should not let the word depart from his mouth. This is the way to be a carrier of the power of God. Most people today always put the worldly vocabularies in their mouth. God do not expect this to be our lifestyle as His children. The word of God says, we should bless and not curse (Romans 12:14). The word of God says life and death are in the power of our mouth (Proverbs 18:21). The word of God says, we shall be judged by our words (Matthew 12:36-37).

Always put the word of God in your mouth. Make it your vocabulary. Stop speaking your challenges; start to speak the word of God to your situations. That way, you will impose the word of God over your situation and effect a positive change. The devil always wants us to keep speaking our problems. The angels around us will only carry out what they hear us speak (Numbers 14:28; Ecclesiastic 5:6). So, no matter what you may be going through, keep speaking the word of God and the word will prevail in your life (Acts 19:20). Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me the courage to keep speaking your word notwithstanding.
