ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

SHILOH

SHILOH

Genesis 49:8-12
Devotional:- “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people” (V.10) NKJV

Man by nature always desires to have a place they can turn to in times of need. Sometimes men experience some situations that look stronger than them. At such time we desire to have a place of refuge. Not just a shady place to hide from the beating of the sun but for security and salvation.

God in His understanding of the human challenges has often planned to give such place for men. When the Israelites were in the wilderness, God told them to separate some cities as cities of refuge when they arrived in Canaan. And He promised that His tabernacle would be in their midst. He told them they should come near this tabernacle for sacrifices and the appointed ceremonies. And anytime they have any trouble, if they will face the city of His presence there shall be solution and victory. This place was referred to as Shiloh.

This was prophesied through the mouth of Jacob when He was blessing his children. He pronounces on Judah that the rod of authority and rulership shall not depart from His tribe till Shiloh will come. At Canaan a place was appointed as Shiloh and there, people waited to receive their miracle. An example is the case of Hannah the mother of Samuel (1 Samuel 1). But this prophecy was referring to Jesus the Messiah. He is our Shiloh. In Him, we have refuge and strength. When we are faced with greater challenges, we can run to Him.

Today in Him you can have a solution to your situation and receive your miracle. Turn to Him today and be saved. Go for your miracle your Shiloh has come.

PRAYER: LORD, I TURN TO YOU TODAY LET YOUR HAND DELIVER MY MIRACLE.

“A MAN WHO DOESN’T KNOW WHERE TO TURN TO IN THE DAY OF TROUBLES WILL ALWAYS HAVE FRUSTRATED”
