LORD OF HOST

LORD OF HOST Psalms 24:1-10 Devotional:- “Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah” (V. 10) NKJV      You need to know that your saviour is the Lord of hosts. People who are from military backgrounds or families know that when your father is a general, you are like a star in the sky. So many other people will want to envy you. Such will have access to many amenities others may not be opportune to use. They will live in special quarters in the army base. And even at war, generals are more protected. If a general’s child is abused anywhere, the father will only command a few soldiers to go and discipline the individual(s) responsible.

EMMANUEL

EMMANUEL

Matthew 1:21-25
Devotional:- “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us” (V. 23) NKJV

The greatest trouble of man is the ignorance of whom he is. From the day human understanding wakes up to their proper identity in Christ. Their life of the challenges we face today will amount to nothing if only we believe the word of God about ourselves. If we know who we are in Christ Jesus, many things that terrify us will not be able to move us nor even gain our attention.

In our scriptures today, the Bible refers to Jesus as Emmanuel. This name interprets something great. Your understanding of this name will make the enemy tremble at your presence. The name Emmanuel means “God with us." It means God has come to dwell in us. You must try to imagine God’s greatness. In my imagination, I often try to size God in the likeness of the size of the sky. Who can measure the sky? Who knows where it ends? It has never been discovered, nor can it ever be. The scientists call it the ever-expanding sky. This is because the more you travel in it, the more you can’t see the end.

If God created the expanse of the sky, which accommodates all the big stars and covers billions of galaxies as discovered by scientists, then how big will this God be? Friend, He will be too much to measure. I often call Him unlimited God, He is in all things. When we sometimes measure the devil with God in our songs and thoughts, I laugh. It is not a matter of competition or trying to race. It is more terrible than comparing a grain of sand to a mountain. So also, are all your challenges? They are too small to stand by God. And as great as God is, do you know that He is now inside you with that greatness (1 John 4:4, I Corinthians 3:16, Romans 8:31)? Can you imagine how great you are? And the forces of heaven and earth are afraid of you. Wake up! You are mighty.

DECLARATION: THE ONE IN ME IS FAR GREATER THAN ANY CHALLENGES AROUND ME. I AM TOO MUCH.

“IF THE ALMIGHTY IS IN YOU, YOU MUST BE MIGHTY.”
