STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

LIKENESS OF GOD

LIKENESS OF GOD

Psalms 82:1-8
Devotional:- “I said, "You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High” (V.6) NKJV

Each human must wake up to know that they are not ordinary beings. God’s word says that man is created in the likeness of God (Genesis 1:26). When a man feels he is nobody, he will think like nobody and become nobody at last (Proverbs 23:7). This is always the target of the enemy. Please understand that you are created to be somebody great in life and that you shall be.

When people say a man is like his father, it means when you see him you will think you have seen his father. This is because he speaks, walks, reacts, and does things like his father. The first man God created was exactly like God. When the devil caused him to sin, he lost his confidence. It was sin that stripped him of his qualities (Romans 3:23). At his appearance, all creatures used to submit. His words were powerful. He speaks, and the angels carry out his instructions. He was manifesting the traces of God. No power could challenge him. He was rated a higher creature than angels (Psalm 8:5 NLT). He has the nature, the charisma, and the look of victory and success. All things worked for him. He was living above sickness. All the bad viruses turned in other directions when he was coming. Sorrow and pain never cross his path. All this was possible because God was in Him (Genesis 2:7).

Friend, this is your picture. If the word of God calls you god, don’t choose to be less (John 10:34–35). Look at yourself in a mirror and tell yourself, this is a god on earth. At salvation God comes inside you by His Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:3; 1 Corinthians 3:16). God told Moses you are god to Pharaoh, and he did not see it too big (Exodus 7:1). Don’t let sin, ignorance, doubt, and fear reduce you. Inside you is the Almighty God. You are like the one the devil bows to. You are like the one who calms the sea. You are like the one who heals the sick and can make it. Take your place.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO TAKE MY PLACE IN CHRIST.

“GOD IS BORN INTO YOU AT NEW BIRTH, ARISE AND TAKE YOUR PLACE”
