THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. GOOD SHEPHERD

GOOD SHEPHERD

John 10:7-16
Devotional:- "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep” (V. 11) NKJV

Very many people do not know that there are just two camps for all humanity. This is the camp of God and the devil: the camp of light and darkness, the camp of good and evil. No man is on the fence. And there are no middle ways. Those of us who are in the camp of God already must understand that Jesus is our shepherd. He is a good shepherd. If anyone is not with the good shepherd yet, he is with robbers and wicked shepherds (John 10:8).

A shepherd is known for his ever-caring attitude. No matter the season or situation, they are always around the sheep. The good shepherds will never leave the sheep carelessly. He will always feed them with the right food and clean them when they are dirty. Good shepherds always love. They love the sheep so much that they stay with them in the field. When wild animals come, they risk their lives to stand against and kill the animals to save the sheep.

That is why your safety is guaranteed because your shepherd is always watching over you (Psalm 121:4). No matter what may happen, you and your children are safe. He said even the hairs of your head are numbered (Matthew 10:30). If He keeps his eye on the sparrows, how much more His child (Luke 12:6-7)? He will never allow you to suffer (Psalms 23:1). If you are going through any situation now, it is for your coming glory. You are getting raised for a greater tomorrow. If you will always obey Him, He will make you lie down in green pasture and beside still water for your eternal beauty. Stay in His camp, and He will decorate you.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO KEEP FOLLOWING YOUR LEADING FOR MY GLORY.
