ASK

ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

A VICTOR

A VICTOR

I John 5:1-5
Devotional:- “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world." (v. 4)

You need to bring yourself to the understanding of the fact that God creates all things and He is in control of all things. The Bible is the law of God, which already has all the plans and the agenda of God for all things from the beginning to the end written in it. Do you know that all that will ever happen has been concluded and written in the Bible? And what is written is written, for the scripture cannot be broken (John 10:35).

According to the unchangeable word of God, do you know that as a believer who carries the life of God, you have been declared a victor over all that will ever happen to you? That is why all that has been facing you has not been able to swallow you. And whatever you are going through now and all that you will ever go through in your life shall be surmounted. This is because you have the life of God in you. God‘s word says you’ve overcome the world (1 John 2:14). The scripture uses this phrase as a present progressive tense. And it means you can never be defeated. Even when it looks as if all is failing, it will eventually turn for your good (Romans 8:28).

This is because you have been declared a winner over every challenge you will ever face. The enemy also knows this truth but will always see to the possibility of shaking your faith and moving you to fear because fear grants him entrance to people’s lives (Proverbs 29:25, Job 3:25). That is why you must always stand your ground upon the sure word of God. Friends, the truth is that you are already a victor and a winner. Stop looking defeated. Stop looking like a victim. Stand in your victory in Christ by faith no matter the situation, and you will always overcome.

Prayer: Lord, give me the heart of a victor.

“YOUR VICTORY IS GIVEN; YOU ONLY NEED TO KEEP IT BY FAITH.”
