FORGIVING YOURSELF

FORGIVING YOURSELF Luke 22:54-62  Devotional:- “So Peter went out and wept bitterly.bitterly.” (V.62) NKJV Before a man can begin to enjoy the expressive love of God in his life, he must learn the act of self-forgiveness. Self-condemnation is always a terrible permission for the devil to take over in the life of a believer. This can make him lose his self-worth in God’s presence. It can make a believer lose his authority in Christ. It can make a believer lose his joy and build an environment of sorrow. And you need to know that the environment of sorrow removes from you the presence of God. He only dwells where there is fullness of joy (Psalms 16:11). Unforgiveness can make a man build an atmosphere of fear and then permit the presence of demons. This also breeds discouragement and frustration and makes the life of its victim miserable. The wonderful thing in the scripture we read today is that, though Peter denied Christ publicly and committed a grievous sin, he did not let...

PRINCE OF PEACE

PRINCE OF PEACE

Isaiah 9:5-7
Devotional:- “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (V.6) NKJV

Today, the scarcest commodity is peace. The world's organizations are paying a lot for peace but are not finding it easy to secure. Instead of attaining peace, the world is rather in pieces. In many homes and families today, the devil has stolen peace. So many relationships suffer loss under this condition. Some tribes and religions specialize in destroying the peace of society. This is simply because the spirit that controls them kills and destroys them.

I need to let you know that there can be no peace in any life, home, relationship, office, business, society, or nation until the price of peace is embraced. If you love to live in peace and to have it around you, it is of great importance that you truly allow Him to rule over your life. Many do not know that going to church does not qualify them to enjoy the peace of God. But truly allowing the prince of peace to rule and control such life.

If you will allow and submit to Him, He will guide you into peace. If your neighbour or spouse does not know peace, all He or she needs is an encounter with Jesus. So, introduce Jesus to them. If they invite Him into their lives, He will dwell in their heart with His peace. Teach your children and spouse to submit to the word of God. In the word, we will find grace to forgive, tolerate, and endure with one another. There we will find true love in our relationship. It is not how many times we go to church but how much we submit to His word (Isaiah 48:18). That is what determines the rate of our peace.

Prayer: Jesus, take over in my life, family, and society with the gospel of your peace.

“NO JESUS, NO PEACE, KNOW JESUS, KNOW PEACE”
