  THE KING IS BORN Luke 2:1-12 Devotional:- “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” NKJV Today, the whole world has come to accept Jesus Christ as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Even if some people have not given their lives to Him, it is globally accepted that He is a Saviour. All nations today accept the chronological number of years that count “AD”. And the ‘AD’ interprets after the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. And thereby acknowledging that Jesus Christ is Lord and King. But you know, He was born in a manger. He was not born in a palace. This is a great message to everyone who will be great on earth. Christ really had His humble beginning. This was one of the reasons the Jews had a problem accepting Him as king and Saviour (John 19:19-22). They expected the king to be born in a palace. APPLE OF HIS EYE

Zechariah 2:4-13
Devotional:- “...for he who touches you touches the apple or pupil of His eye” (V. 8) AMPL

    One of the most honourable and highly protected parts of our body is our eye. It is highly protected because of its importance and delicacy. The eye is the light of the body (Matthew 6:22, Luke 11:34). A man without sight is blocked without light. He will need to learn to see with the inner eye. Because of the importance of the eye, everyone takes time to wash it with all care and caution. When things are coming against it, wise people will always avoid it. When something little enters the eye, we become restless until it is removed. The truth is that you cannot allow anyone to touch your eye. It is a reflex action for you to close it at such times.

That is why God likened His children to the apple of His eye. The apple in the eye here is the figurative expression of the eyeball. As far as God is concerned, you are so precious and important. Can you imagine the value He puts on you to have allowed His only son to die just for you? Can you imagine the kind of pain He had to go through as a father looking at His son being nailed to the cross just because of you?

Stop allowing anything to threaten your security or your peace. He that watches over you never sleeps or slumbers (Psalms 121:4). You need to learn to live daily in the arms of the Lord (Hebrews 4:11). And do not allow anything to shake your confidence. Go out each day and make your journey with the peace and confidence of God, knowing that you will surely return safely. Stop panicking. You are too precious and special to God. He is jealously watching over you like His eye. Even the devil knows this. That is why, until you are made afraid, you cannot be defeated. Don’t let anyone deceive you into any information of fear. God is watching over you. And you are secure daily.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always believe in your care for me.

“YOUR LEVEL OF IMPORTANCE DETERMINES YOUR LEVEL OF SECURITY.”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
