  GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). APPLE OF HIS EYE

Zechariah 2:4-13
Devotional:- “...for he who touches you touches the apple or pupil of His eye” (V. 8) AMPL

    One of the most honourable and highly protected parts of our body is our eye. It is highly protected because of its importance and delicacy. The eye is the light of the body (Matthew 6:22, Luke 11:34). A man without sight is blocked without light. He will need to learn to see with the inner eye. Because of the importance of the eye, everyone takes time to wash it with all care and caution. When things are coming against it, wise people will always avoid it. When something little enters the eye, we become restless until it is removed. The truth is that you cannot allow anyone to touch your eye. It is a reflex action for you to close it at such times.

That is why God likened His children to the apple of His eye. The apple in the eye here is the figurative expression of the eyeball. As far as God is concerned, you are so precious and important. Can you imagine the value He puts on you to have allowed His only son to die just for you? Can you imagine the kind of pain He had to go through as a father looking at His son being nailed to the cross just because of you?

Stop allowing anything to threaten your security or your peace. He that watches over you never sleeps or slumbers (Psalms 121:4). You need to learn to live daily in the arms of the Lord (Hebrews 4:11). And do not allow anything to shake your confidence. Go out each day and make your journey with the peace and confidence of God, knowing that you will surely return safely. Stop panicking. You are too precious and special to God. He is jealously watching over you like His eye. Even the devil knows this. That is why, until you are made afraid, you cannot be defeated. Don’t let anyone deceive you into any information of fear. God is watching over you. And you are secure daily.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always believe in your care for me.

“YOUR LEVEL OF IMPORTANCE DETERMINES YOUR LEVEL OF SECURITY.”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
