ASK

ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

HEAVEN CITIZEN

HEAVEN CITIZEN

Philippians 3:17-21
Devotional:- “For our citizenship is in heaven." (v.20)

Almost everyone on earth is aware that one day each man will leave for a final destination. God, the beginning and the end of all things, have decided the end of every man (Revelation 1:8). There are just two destinations or a final place for every man. It is either heaven or hell. Each man must end in one of them. Since God has created man as a creature of choice, He has well created two places and leaves each man to his choice. Heaven is a place of eternal pleasure with God, while hell is a place of eternal torment with the devil.

Look here; your choice of accepting Jesus Christ into your life has qualified you to be a citizen of heaven (John 3:16). Heaven is the place of eternal life. Jesus is not a religious leader but the only begotten of the Father sent to take as many as will accept His gospel to the Father (John 3:18). He is the way to the Father (John 14:6). When we follow Him, we will get to the Father.

Accepting Christ into your life means you have accepted the spirit of God in you to be a new creature and give you a new life (I Corinthians 12:4). So you are a registered citizen of heaven. You are not going to be one day. You are already one by the spirit of He that dwells in you. Except the spirit of God is not the one controlling your life. Do you know that it is ignorance to pray that you want to get to heaven? See, you are a citizen. That is your homeland (Philippians 3:20). AMPL. You go there when you are ready. You don’t need a special prayer to approach the embassy since the passport on you is of heaven (Philippians 1:22-23). The question is, are you a citizen? Your new birth is your passport, while the Holy Spirit is your multiple and special visa. You can always go and come back without any harassment by any customs or immigration. Some of us go there daily during worship. Share up, though it is not time to go permanently, but when it is time, it will be directly in Jesus' name.

Prayer: Lord, help me never to throw away my passport to heaven.

“A CITIZEN HAS A LEGAL RIGHT TO HIS HOMELAND ANYTIME.”
