HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

A PRIEST

A PRIEST

I Peter 2:4-8
Devotional:- “You also… have been built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices." (v.5)

In the Old Testament, the priests are the only people permitted by God to take up sacred affairs in the house of God. They are the ones approved by God to move closer to God and to touch the holy materials. It is an abomination for them to touch any unholy material. They are never to defile themselves with any unlawful thing. They stand on behalf of people before God and of God before people. They are permitted to have direct access to God.

The scripture we read today announced you as a priest of God. As a New Testament saint, you have been ordained into the royal priesthood of Christ (I Peter 2:9). You can have direct access to God. You are His holy vessel. You need no middleman to worship or pray to God. You don’t need a consultant or a contractor to get you to God. You are the one to take people there. You can always offer your sacrifices of praise, worship, thanksgiving, supplication, intercession, and offering, and it will be acceptable unto God. That is why you must not defile yourself with sin (Isaiah 52:11). You must always be conscious of your sacred office. So that God’s glory can always be seen in you.

In case you live in an environment where there are no fellowships, start to gather people around you to worship the Lord. You are a priest of God. Not by garment or human ordination but by God’s ordination. God will always confirm your word when you pray for people if you believe (Isaiah 44:26). Receive God's righteous boldness from now and lead others to God.

Prayer: Lord, let your mark of priesthood be on me.

“A PRIEST IS A SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY OVER LIFE.”
