ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

LIFTER OF HEAD

LIFTER OF HEAD

Psalms 3:1-8
Devotional:- “But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head” (V. 3) NKJV

Looking at every good organization, you will observe that there is a department that treats staff performance and appraisal, this is the personnel department. In every company or organization, everyone tries to do well in the face of such departmental leaders and managers. This department is as important as the accounting department. You dare not misbehave with its officers when they are around.

When you hear that they are inspecting your department, you sit up. This is because you know how much your future in that company or organization is at their mercy. They can bring about people’s promotion or demotion. So, we are careful with such sections in our organization.

Many of us do not know that God also has this department in His heaven and earth government. They are the hosts who agree to the increase of people's status in life. They decide who is qualified to prosper. They decide who should die or stay alive. God the Father has delegated all of these authorities to their hands. When they don’t qualify you, it means you are not qualified.

But it is great to know that Jesus, your redeemer who loves you and died for you, is the director in charge of this department in God’s government (Psalms 75:6-7, John 5:22). He is the one David prophetically refers to as the lifter of heads. Can you imagine that He who loves you is in charge of the promotion of heaven and earth? You can become the next candidate for promotion. He will surely treat you with preference. Greatly expect it. You shall be lifted.

DECLARATION: IT’S MY TURN TO BE LIFTED IN JESUS NAME.
