ASK

ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

THE LORD

THE LORD

Acts 2:34-41
Devotional:- "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ” (V.36) NKJV

A lot of time when we use the word ‘lord’ we do not seem to have the right understanding of it. Lordship is not a title for anyone. Today the Dominion of Christ is not rooted in the life of some believers because they do not know Jesus as their Lord.

When the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples on the day of Pentecost, Peter rose up among them and preached the gospel of the New Testament to the people. One of the things the Holy Spirit declared through his mouth was the ordination of Jesus as the Lord and Christ.

The word ‘lord' does not only signify headship but authority, dominion, and power. This means he has fought and won his way to such a level of power. And by the reason of such possession, he exercises exclusive authority over his subjects. By this, he operates in dominion.

Do you know that Jesus has won His way to the top and the Father has made Him both Lord and Saviour? Now the heaven and the earth are under His dominion (Matthew 28:18). So, it is a deception for you to be under any other dominion. The only accredited one is Jesus. But you know among the subjects some people still try to rule over others. And that is the case of the devil. Don’t let him rule over your life. The great one in you is the ruler over heaven and earth (1 John 4:4). All things are to submit to you in His name (Philippians 2:9-10). If He is your Lord, no one else should be. Nowhere can you find two kings ruling over a city. Declare Him as your own Lord and submit to His commandment (James 4:7). Then all other authorities will be out of your life.

DECLARATION: JESUS IS MY LORD AND SAVIOUR AND ALL OTHER AUTHORITY MUST PACK OUT OF MY LIFE.

“WHEN YOUR LORD IS SUPREME YOU ARE SUPREME”
