JOY

JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

DELIVERER

DELIVERER

Romans 11:25-36
Devotional:- “And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob” (V. 26) NKJV

So many people have been deceived into covenant—bondage with the devil. This is because most people get too worried about their needs. And so the devil often takes advantage of this to rope them into eternal bondage. Though they will have their needs temporarily met, yet will have unavoidable troubles and sorrows (Proverbs 10:22). And so, the situation of some people today has become unexplainable.

But I need to let you know that one of the mandates of the ministry of Jesus is to set the captive free. The scripture we read today was a prophecy of Christ quoted from Isaiah 59:21–22. The Bible says God is bringing out of Zion a deliverer. And that is Jesus Christ. No matter how much the devil has involved you in any demonic bondage, just call on Jesus to save you. Repent of your evil deeds, and He will bring you out of darkness into His marvelous light (I Peter 2:9).

God’s word says, “Upon Mount Zion, there shall be deliverance and Holiness and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions” (Obadiah 17). Begin to call upon the name of Jesus in faith and not in fear. Pray in this name always. Sing in this name always. Speak in this name always. In all situations, call the name, and you shall always be delivered. Keep it in your mouth till you can call it in your dream against the enemy. And by the name, you shall overcome. By that name, you shall be made free from any bondage of life (John 8:32).

DECLARATION: I AM DELIVERED FROM ALL BONDAGES IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

“IT TAKES A STRONGER POWER TO BE FREE FROM A LESSER POWER.”
