JOY

JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

FATHER’S MINISTRY

FATHER’S MINISTRY

John 15:13-17
Devotional:- “You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name” (V.16) NLT

We know so much about the ministry of the Son and the Holy Spirit today, but much has not been discovered about the ministry of God the Father. We need to know that God has not created anyone to suffer, struggle, or carry life challenges alone. God did not fashion life for struggle. Men only struggle because they are ignorant of the order of life.

God has given you some measure of ability but when you exhaust it, you are to turn to your father. Learn to pass the baton to the Father. A father is someone who knows more, sees more, has more, and can do more (John 14:28). God is our Father (John 20:17). He is greater. Men of God are His representatives on the earth, so take advantage.

To enjoy His ministry in your life, you must be responsible. Learn to exploit all the spiritual, mental, and physical strength that God’s word gives you. But when you don’t know what to do next, turn to the Father. He knows your needs (Matthew 7:11). Where your strength stops, His starts. He will make a way of escape for you (1 Corinthians 10:13). Cast all your anxiety on Him. He is capable (1 Peter 5:7). When you cast it on Him in prayers, don’t carry it again. Believe in your heart that He is able (2 Timothy 1:12). Take a step of faith as He leads you. Hannah believed, and her story turned around (1 Samuel 1:18). It's your turn!

Prayer: Lord, help me to start knowing you as my Father

“HE THAT LACKS A FATHER WILL LACK THE FEATHER TO FLY IN LIFE”
