STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

SUBMITTING TO GOD

SUBMITTING TO GOD

I Peter 5:5-7
Devotional:- “Therefore humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you In due time” (V.6) NKJV

A man who wants to live by faith must learn to submit to God. Faith is resting confidently on the promises of the word of God. For a man to rest on God’s word he must give up his struggle. Many people just believe that life is all about struggling but faith is not struggling; it is rather turning to God's direction at all cost.

In the scripture we read today, God’s word says we should humble ourselves under God’s mighty hand, that’s when our promotion can be given at the right time.

Friend, fear, anxiety, worries, and struggle will not produce a good future but faith in God’s word. Give up your struggle (Matthew 6:25-33). Cast your worries on Him. Trust it all to His hand and you will live in peace (Psalms 37:5). Begin to pursue whatever He has given with the available opportunity with all your heart. Understand that He is building you up for the best. Refuse to live in sorrow but rejoice in hope. Let not your circumstances dictate your life. Live by God's Word; put your total hope into it. And you will laugh last.

Prayer: Lord, help me to submit to your will

“SUBMISSION IS NOT THE BEST WAY TO LIVE BUT THE ONLY WAY”
