COMPARISM

COMPARISM 2 Corinthians 10:7-18 Devotional:- “Oh, don't worry; we wouldn't dare say that we are as wonderful as these other men who tell you how important they are! But they are only comparing themselves with each other, using themselves as the standard of measurement. How ignorant!” (v.12) NLT. Man, by his complexity, sometimes creates complications for himself in life. One of the things we often do incorrectly is to measure our lives by comparing them to other people’s lives. We often forget that we are sent for a different purpose, so our goals and objectives cannot be the same. There is nothing wrong with trying to gauge your level of performance against others in the same field. But it will be completely wrong for you to determine whether you are a failure or a success by the life of another man. NEGATIVE TO POSITIVE

NEGATIVE TO POSITIVE

James 1:1-14
Devotional:- “My brethren count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptation” (V. 2) KJV

It is time for believers to know that we are called to turn negative to positive; to turn evil to good; to turn wilderness to city and to turn our pain to gain. In other words, what killed others we must turn to our miracle. The very worst families, finances, businesses, or various situations can be turned glorious in our lives.

This is God’s expectation of us. The very situation you are in right now is to be turned into a testimony. This is by the Spirit of God in us. But how shall this be? This is by being positive in all situations. Instead of allowing our challenges to break us down, we should get built up by it. We must be optimistic in all situations.

Since we are sure that all things shall surely work together for our good, we must refuse to give in to sorrow (Romans 8:28). We must choose to sing through (Isaiah 54:1). We know that God is working all things for our good, and by this, our challenges will always turn to testimonies. And we will always overcome.

Prayer: Lord, strengthen me to stand through.
