  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. NAME OF JESUS

Philippians 2:5-11
Devotional:- “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,” (V. 10) NKJV

    Believers need to recognize what the name of Jesus means to them in authority and power. The understanding we have about the name determines what the name will give as an answer. That is why some are named just anything. But if you are a Bible reader you will understand that name is not only for attention or identity but also a prophecy and a status of authority.

As we read in the scripture today God had given Jesus a name as a status of authority. It has become a key that opens doors in heaven and earth. The authority attached to His name makes all knees bow to it. So, it is a name all power must submit to. Jesus Christ means Jesus the anointed messiah or saviour (Matthew 1:21).

When you call upon His name all power must submit to you. It will work both in dreams and life. Jesus says, “Whatever you ask in this name, the Father will do’” (John 15:16). It means even God the Father respects and responds to this name. All everlasting doors will open for you in this name.

Start to call upon the name in all situations. The name is unstoppable when you call it with the consciousness of the Holy Spirit in you. If it is in your mouth, you become irresistible. And the enemy will always bow to you (Luke 10:17). This is your weapon of victory. Hold fast to it.

Prayer: Lord, let your name always be in my mouth.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
