TIME OF JOY Philippians 4:1-7 Devotional:- “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again l say, rejoice.” (V. 4) KJV One of the most important and most needed virtues of life is joy. When joy is not in place, many things may not be in place. It is joy that eases a man off the tension of life. It is joy that puts men always in health (Proverbs 17:22). It is joy that destroys our doubt. It is the joy in the Lord that increases our faith. It is joy that refreshes our minds and gives us mental richness. There are many more things that joy does in our lives, yet it looks so scarce in the lives of many. This is because there are not many pleasant situations that will help them rejoice. But you, as a believer, should know that you cannot afford to live in sorrow, for without joy, life will be totally in shambles. NAME OF JESUS

Philippians 2:5-11
Devotional:- “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,” (V. 10) NKJV

    Believers need to recognize what the name of Jesus means to them in authority and power. The understanding we have about the name determines what the name will give as an answer. That is why some are named just anything. But if you are a Bible reader you will understand that name is not only for attention or identity but also a prophecy and a status of authority.

As we read in the scripture today God had given Jesus a name as a status of authority. It has become a key that opens doors in heaven and earth. The authority attached to His name makes all knees bow to it. So, it is a name all power must submit to. Jesus Christ means Jesus the anointed messiah or saviour (Matthew 1:21).

When you call upon His name all power must submit to you. It will work both in dreams and life. Jesus says, “Whatever you ask in this name, the Father will do’” (John 15:16). It means even God the Father respects and responds to this name. All everlasting doors will open for you in this name.

Start to call upon the name in all situations. The name is unstoppable when you call it with the consciousness of the Holy Spirit in you. If it is in your mouth, you become irresistible. And the enemy will always bow to you (Luke 10:17). This is your weapon of victory. Hold fast to it.

Prayer: Lord, let your name always be in my mouth.

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
