  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). ANOINTING OIL

I Samuel 10:1-10
Devotional:- “Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head, and kissed him and said: "Is it not because the LORD has anointed you commander over His inheritance?” (V. 1) NKJV

     Sometimes many people allow their faith to be seasonal. They join people to do what everyone is doing at a time. But do you know that the power of God is not seasonal? It depends on how you can turn your faith in Him. Some people are used to this in the past but have neglected it. This is a trick of the devil to make the church feel that the power of God is decreasing. Every factor that connects to the power of God is valid forever.

The anointing oil is one of God’s mysteries for our victory. In the scriptures we read today, God instructed Samuel to anoint Saul as king over Israel his people. And there we can see this mystery. The power is not the oil but the Holy Spirit it symbolizes (1 Samuel 10:27). It brought honour and favour upon Saul. It lifted him to the throne. It enlisted him among the prophets. And it made him a king among others.

Friend, you are the chosen and the elect of the Lord. By the reason of anointing your honour and favour shall be delivered. The world is waiting for your manifestation. And they will see your glory (Romans 8:19).

Prayer: Lord, distinguish me by your anointing

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
