CONTENTMENT I Timothy 6:3-12 Devotional:- “Now godliness with contentment is great gain.” (V.6) 6 NKJV For anyone to sustain the spirit of joy, he must learn to exercise godliness with contentment. One major reason why people quickly lose their joy is their fear of lack. This is a feeling of losing what they have. This is a fear of unknown or undefined unexpected problems that may occur. In the scripture we read today, God’s word explains to us about something that is of great gain to us. The word contentment means to be calm and at peace in every situation. It means not to worry but expect the best of every challenge. The godliness that the Bible talks about here is to remain in your godly virtues, no matter what is happening. This will make you find it easy to believe God for supply, and it shall be so. And in the midst of this, you will have peace and joy. ESTHER’S FAITH

ESTHER’S FAITH

Esther 4:10-17
Devotional:- "Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” (V. 16) NKJV

Until man is ready, God may not also be ready. This is because God is ever ready. If you say you are ready today God is also ready. If you say it is tomorrow, it is okay with God.

The children of God were faced with the challenge of the enemy who wanted to destroy the children of Israel. But God has prepared Esther in the palace to stand in for them. Despite all of these, Esther had a challenge. It was the time she must not see the king. There was always a specific period when she could see him. And disobedience to this could lead to her death. She then called all God’s people to fast and pray for her; by faith, she was ready to go and see the king. And God granted her favour.

See, he who is ready to save his life shall lose it (Mark 8:35). It is time to give it all it takes to have your victory. You must not die in this poor state. Be ready to pay the price of rising. Arise, as the prodigal son did, and God will grant you favor (Luke 15:18).
