DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. LOOK AND LIVE

LOOK AND LIVE

Numbers 21:4-9
Devotional:- “Then the LORD said to Moses, "Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live” (V.8) NKJV

The lives of most men are faced with so many compounded problems and sorrow. What some go through is not explainable. This is because they give themselves to all kinds of bondages of the devil unknowingly. Many have compounded the situation by entering into a terrible covenant with darkness or by their addiction to unrighteousness. I have good news for you – there is a way out.

As we read in the scriptures today, the children of Israel got into trouble by offending God and God sent wicked serpents to torment them. But because God is merciful, He will always make a way out of all tests and trials (1 Corinthians 10:13). He asked Moses to lift a bronze serpent. And whoever looks at it will be healed and live.

This is a symbol of Christ being hanged on the cross and whoever looks shall be saved from any plaque of the enemy (John 3:14-15). Friend, this grace is still available to everyone. Whatever may be biting you today, you can still look unto Jesus (Hebrews 12:2). Stop looking at the size of your situation. Just look unto Him. Call upon Him from your heart. He will answer you and you will not be ashamed (Psalms 34:5). It is His will to heal and help you. No one is created to fail. Rise now to call on Him and your story shall surely change.

Prayer: Lord, rescue me today.
