TAKE NO OFFENCE Luke 7:18-30 Devotional:- “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me” (v.23) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional TAKE NO OFFENCE Support Us Luke 7:18-30 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Sometimes, men easily get offended. That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. He sent messengers to Jesus to ask if He was the Christ or not. This question see...

DAY OF SIGHT

DAY OF SIGHT

Mark 10:46-52
Devotional:- “And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” (V.47) NKJV

Many of us do not know that we are a factor in determining our situations. If you say it is now, nothing can stop it. If you say it is later, it is according to what you say. Hannah said, “It is now” and it was so (1 Samuel 1). Jacob said, “It is now” and it was so (Genesis 32:24-30). I don’t know when your own will be.

This man, called Bartimaeus has been a beggar and a blind man for a long time. But I can read the state of the heart of this man. He was a man of vision. He was only a beggar by circumstance, so, he took his begging to the highway and not in a corner. Now that he is a beggar, he decides to be an international beggar. He knew that one day, he would gain his sight, so he was gathering and saving his strength for his day of sight. He knew soon he would have his car, wife, and children. When Jesus was passing, he knew it was his miracle day. So he put in his best till he got it. Vision will let you recognize opportunities.

Friend, what will be of you at last? When is your day of sight? Are you ever planning, saving, or investing for a better tomorrow? Today can bring a new dawn into your life but you are to determine it. See there is no reason why you should not be great. It is never late except you say so. You can still rise. Jesus is standing right by your side. Kneel down to call on him and touch Him. Then rise to make it in Jesus' name.

Declaration: I will arise for My light has come.

“WHEN YOU RISE ALL THINGS WILL RISE”
