TAKE NO OFFENCE Luke 7:18-30 Devotional:- “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me” (v.23) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional TAKE NO OFFENCE Support Us Luke 7:18-30 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Sometimes, men easily get offended. That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. RUTH’S FAITH

RUTH’S FAITH

Ruth 1:11-22
Devotional:- “But Ruth said: "Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God” (V. 16) NKJV

God is often provoked when men can demonstrate great faith. He will always reveal His greatness in their lives. If you will always consider what people will say you may not see the hand of God for greatness. People who want to be safe will always lose their portion.

Ruth was a woman who challenged God by her faith. And God lifted her. She decided to follow her mother-in-law despite all odds. She knew that Naomi had no more hope but she was ready to follow her. She knew she may never have a baby but was ready to follow her and God surprised her by fixing her among the great (Isaiah 53:12). Her lineage birthed almost all significant heroes of the Bible and even Jesus Christ.

Friend, beware of your attitude towards your family, office, vision or ministry. Be determined to see the glory of the Lord in the land of the living. Challenge God with your persistence and patience, don’t quit. Be ready to die than to quit and you will live to share your testimony. Stay put with your spouse, and challenge God with your faith and you shall be fixed with the great.

Prayer: Lord, strengthen me to wait to see your glory.
