  CHILDREN OF GOD I John 3:1-3  Devotional:- “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him” (V.1) NKJV One of the unique things on earth is that, each one belongs to one family or the other. Some are from a great family, their name sounds great, and others are from a family that is not well-known. The truth is that, the lineage each of us belongs to, sometimes speaks and shows in our live. Those who are seen as children of great people in the world are often counted as privileged. But the scripture we read today is aimed at making you appreciate the privilege of being a child of God. It doesn’t matter whether you are born into a great family on earth or not. God has decided to bestow His love on you by calling you His child (Galatians 4:7). This is the greatest family in heaven and earth. The moment you are born again, you are born of God (John 1:12). SAVED BY GRACE

Ephesians 2:1-10 NKJV
Devotional:-For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God (V. 8).

    A Christian is the one that is saved by grace. To be saved by grace means you know you are not saved by your works of moral behaviour. It means you know that you do not merit your salvation. Grace means unmerited favour. In order words, you did not work for it. Someone had already paid for it.

Because we are saved by grace and not by our merit, we appreciate the mercy of God. That is why you have nothing to boast about. Jesus paid the price on the cross. He died and rose on the third day to pay for your salvation. You were only given as a gift (Romans 6:23). You only accept the salvation by believing that Jesus died on the cross for you.

 This have a way of making us humble before our saviour. By that humility we are kept under check and not proud. It is only those who aren saved by Grace that are children of God. If you  have not fully come into this understanding you may not be saved. Be grateful daily for He who pay for your freedom from sin and satan. Then you are set for a great life with God. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, help me to retain the understanding of my salvation by Grace.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
