  CHILDREN OF GOD I John 3:1-3  Devotional:- “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him” (V.1) NKJV One of the unique things on earth is that, each one belongs to one family or the other. Some are from a great family, their name sounds great, and others are from a family that is not well-known. The truth is that, the lineage each of us belongs to, sometimes speaks and shows in our live. Those who are seen as children of great people in the world are often counted as privileged. But the scripture we read today is aimed at making you appreciate the privilege of being a child of God. It doesn’t matter whether you are born into a great family on earth or not. God has decided to bestow His love on you by calling you His child (Galatians 4:7). This is the greatest family in heaven and earth. The moment you are born again, you are born of God (John 1:12). BELIEVE THE WORD

Romans 10:14-21
Devotional:- So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (V. 17)

    The word of God says they just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). Faith is believing the word of God. You are not a Christian if you don’t live by faith in the word of God. There are two Kingdoms in this world. The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of the devil. In the Kingdom of God where we belong as children of God, the word of God is our governing principle. The word of God is our constitution.

If anyone is not living by the word of God, he may not be a citizen of this Kingdom. To believe the word of God is to live by the word. The word believe is from two words be – live. It means you can only live in what you have been. So being precedes doing. Your life will always go the way you are. This is talking about the make-up of your mind. So to be a child of God, you have to be what the word says you are, then you will see yourself living like it. For you to be the word of God you have to accept it as written to you, it has to become the principle of your life (Psalms 119:55-56).

Friend, until you start to see the word of God as the principle of your life, you are yet to be a believer. It is when it becomes your principle that you live by the senses of the word, then you will doubt anything contrary to it and expect your situation according to be word (Luke 1:38). It’s a new day! Peace.

Prayer: Lord, make me be and live according to your word.

“What have been set in your mind is what will be your experience in life”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
