  JOY IN TRUSTING GOD Proverbs 16:16-26 Devotional:- “He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he” (V. 20) NKJV Living in doubts, fears, and anxieties cause sadness and sorrows in the lives of people. Sometimes it’s so bad that it leads to depression and ill health. One of the reasons for this is often our inability to trust God in times of need. Whenever there is a delay in our expectations, we easily struggle with our relationship with God.  But when a man trusts in the Lord, he will not see the troubles around, he will only see the promises of God that can never fail; and that will bring great joy, peace and happiness. People around him will wonder what is giving him such joy even in the face of imminent challenges. Beloved God loves you. He cares about you. He has promised to help you (Isaiah 41:10). HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM

Acts 2:1-13
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (V. 4)

    To be a true believer you must not just receive the Holy Spirit at convention, you must be baptised with the Holy Spirit. To be baptised with the Holy Spirit is to be filled with Him. It is to be full of Him so much that there will be no room for another spirit in you anymore. It is to be taken over by the Holy Spirit.

Before someone is filled with the Holy Spirit, he/she is first filled with the Spirit of the flesh, which is the spirit of the world ruled by the devil (2 Corinthians 4:4). It can also be called the spirit of self. So for someone to be filled with the Holy Spirit, you must first be humble to sincerely denounce the spirit of self or flesh. It is by this we are ready and open enough for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When you are really baptised with the Holy Spirit, it is then you really begin to enjoy God (Romans 8:9).

Friend, the hindrance to the baptism of the Holy Spirit is people’s inability to let go self and flesh. You must be humble enough to put this aside an open up to the Holy Spirit, then he will start to teach you and lead you (John 14:26). If you are not always led by the Holy Spirit then you are a baby in the spirit (Romans 8:14). This not a safe level for a child of God (Galatians 4:1). You need to be a growing Christian to be a mature believer. Peace!

Prayer, Lord, give me the humble spirit to open up to the Holy Spirit

“Only those who are baptized of the Holy Spirit are the temple of God”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
