ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM Proverbs 3:1-8  Devotional:- “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (v.6) KJV. To be able to enjoy God’s loving kindness, all of us must learn to always acknowledge God in all our decision-making. This simply means that we recognise Him as our owner and the one who is qualified to instruct us on where to turn. When we gave our lives to Christ, we all confessed Jesus as our Lord. This means we acknowledge Him as the one who has the final decision over our lives. But we often forget to carry Him along in making decisions that will, in the end, have a great adverse effect on our lives. If we are to enjoy the love and the goodness of the Lord, we must learn to acknowledge Him. And this is by patiently asking Him for His instructions for us. The truth is that He will always guide us. UNCONTROLLABLE TONGUE

UNCONTROLLABLE TONGUE

Proverbs 18:1-8
Devotional:- "A fool’s mouth is his destruction, And his lips are the snare of his soul". (V. 7)

Most people entered into snare by the word of their mouth. It is through lack of self-control many have wounded their own heart and they’ve become frustrated.

Most of us when we are happy we are tempted to freely speak. This is how many have shared what they should not share or what is not mature for them to share. Devil will now took this up to snare their soul by telling them that they will not be able to make it to succeed. So many people have bragged around of a journey ahead of them and the journey they were never able to make. Many have boosted of some achievement that never saw the light of the day.

Let your heart be matured. Never have you proudly shared what should not be shared (Proverbs 13:3; Proverbs 6:2). Guard your mouth. Believer always discipline their tongue (James 3:1-2). Repent of such act and accept your liberty by faith in God’s word (John 8:32) and you shall be free. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from the snare of the mouth

“He that is not snared in the mouth shall be free in life to prosper”.
