MEDITATION

MEDITATION Psalm 1:1-6 Devotional:- “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night..” (v.2) NKJV      God’s word describes someone blessed because he/she meditates on the word of God, day and night. How can this be? The word of God is the source of inspiration that strengthens us to perform (John 1:1-3). The Bible told us that God is a spirit; therefore, meditating on the word of God is drawing on the strength of the spirit (John 6:63).

PUTTING ON

PUTTING ON

Ephesians 4:17-24
Devotional:- "and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness". (V. 24) NKJV

When you are putting off the sinful nature, it is important we all labour to put on the nature of Christ. This is when we are Christians.  To put on means you deliberately allow yourself to be exposed to information that builds in you the new nature

This is by giving yourself to the studying of the word of God. It is by fellowshipping with God and His people. It is by surrounding yourself with people and atmosphere that promotes this nature of Christ. That is why the fellowship of the children of God is so vital (Psalms 84:7). By so doing you will be developing in Christlikeness. You need to truly give up on self. This does not mean giving up on your vision, it is God that gives vision but self promotes ambition.

Friend, to allow Christ to live in you, then you must put on his nature that is when the fruits of righteousness will start to reflect in you. That is when you will no longer struggle to please God. Put on love, peace and joy in righteousness and holiness. Peace

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to put on the nature of Christ.

“What you are putting on is what people see in you”
