TRANSFORMED BY TROUBLE 2 Corinthians 4:7-18 Devotional:- “For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” (V. 17) NLT  God has a purpose behind every problem. God depends more on circumstances to grow our character than reading the Bible; this is because we have challenging circumstances twenty four seven. The word of God made us to see challenges in our life as normal (1 Peter 4:18). Your deepest expression of worship is mostly in the darkest days. It is during suffering that we learn to pray our most authentic, heart-felt and honest prayers to God (James 5:16). God would have kept Jeremiah from the throne to the pit, Joseph from been thrown into the jail, Paul from been shipwrecked or the three Hebrew from been thrown into the fire but he left those problems to himself. IMPATIENCE         

1 Samuel 13:4-14
Devotional:- "Now it happened, as soon as he had finished presenting the burnt offering, that Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might greet him". (V. 10) NKJV

    Sometimes in the course of trying to rush to attain a goal, we complicate situations especially when this rush is caused by impatience. Impatience is not to allow the right process of things to be in place. It is the trick of the enemy to bring affliction over our heart by making us to be restless and making us feel if it does not happen now it will never happen. This is not often true but lies. This is not a life style of a true believer.

It is true in the scripture we read today that King Saul had waited for seven days but he should have waited to the end of the day before concluding that Samuel the prophet will not come again. It was just a pressure by the weakness of his heart and as soon as he finished sacrificing Samuel came. His day of honour was turn to the beginning of the shame. Just a little patience more would have secured his throne.

Friend, understand that what is yours by divine ordination will not miss you. Don’t give in to pressure. This pressure in most cases is because we lack the understanding of the purposes of God. The devil always want to deceive us to think material things are our purpose on earth. That push us to become desperate when it look escaping. Please know that you are not created for material things but they are created for you. You need not to be afraid of failure. Remember God is on your side (Romans 8:31). You can’t secure the future by allowing tension. Watch out! Peace!

Prayer: Lord, teach me to manage pressure of life

“Situation that comes with pressure is leading to tension, watch out!”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
