  GROWING Ephesians 4:9-16 Devotional:- “But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head of Christ” (V. 15) God’s plan and desire is that we grow up. So many Christian today are growing older but not growing up. Many are stocked in perpetual spiritual infancy. This is because they never intend to grow. Spiritual growth is not automatic, it takes intentional commitment. You must want to grow, decide to grow, make an effort and persist in growing. Discipleship is the process of becoming like Christ (Matthew 10:25). In your spiritual growth, God has a part and you have a part. To be Christ-like you will need to make Christ like choices and depend on the Holy Spirit to help you fulfill those choices. The moment you are ready, you will need to let go of some old routines and develop some new habits. You will need to intentionally change the way you are thinking (Philippians 2:12-13). IMPATIENCE         

1 Samuel 13:4-14
Devotional:- "Now it happened, as soon as he had finished presenting the burnt offering, that Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might greet him". (V. 10) NKJV

    Sometimes in the course of trying to rush to attain a goal, we complicate situations especially when this rush is caused by impatience. Impatience is not to allow the right process of things to be in place. It is the trick of the enemy to bring affliction over our heart by making us to be restless and making us feel if it does not happen now it will never happen. This is not often true but lies. This is not a life style of a true believer.

It is true in the scripture we read today that King Saul had waited for seven days but he should have waited to the end of the day before concluding that Samuel the prophet will not come again. It was just a pressure by the weakness of his heart and as soon as he finished sacrificing Samuel came. His day of honour was turn to the beginning of the shame. Just a little patience more would have secured his throne.

Friend, understand that what is yours by divine ordination will not miss you. Don’t give in to pressure. This pressure in most cases is because we lack the understanding of the purposes of God. The devil always want to deceive us to think material things are our purpose on earth. That push us to become desperate when it look escaping. Please know that you are not created for material things but they are created for you. You need not to be afraid of failure. Remember God is on your side (Romans 8:31). You can’t secure the future by allowing tension. Watch out! Peace!

Prayer: Lord, teach me to manage pressure of life

“Situation that comes with pressure is leading to tension, watch out!”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
