PALMS OF HIS HAND

PALMS OF HIS HAND Isaiah 49:14-20  Devotional:- “See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.” (V.16) NKJV Sometimes in the course of the journey of life, we look at ourselves and ask questions. Who created me? Why am I created? Such times make life look not worth living; ungodly men at such times could consider death as a better option than living. When they see others laughing, they ask, what is making them laugh? Friend, Your laughter will soon come. Do you know that you are a special creature of God? The scripture we read today said you are inscribed in the palms of God’s hand. That means he loves you and is not willing to forget you. In Isaiah 49:15, He said, others could forget you, but He will not. When a man is in love with a woman, they take the pictures of each other all around in their books, bags and even in their bible. They look at the picture and have a feeling of love. They are never ashamed to show it to others. T...

TURN TO GOD

TURN TO GOD

Hosea 6:1-3
Devotional:- “Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up” (V. 1) NKJV

Today, it is so challenging to identify who is a Christian. This is because there are so many mixed up. That is why you and I should examine ourselves to check if we are truly Christian. Those who are Christians are those you have turn to Christ for their salvation. All of us are attracted to Jesus by one thing or the other. One thing is to be attracted to Jesus another is to turn to Jesus.

To check your Christian life, you must at one time or the other turns to Jesus for your salvation. To turn to Jesus is to look unto Him as a saviour to save you (Hebrews 12:2).  To turn to Jesus is an act of realizing your sinful life and the consequences of it (Romans 3:23). This makes you see a need to be rescued from the punishment or consequences of sin. You must have realised your helpless experiences in that you want to stop sinning but you cannot help yourself. (Romans 7:18-25). This makes you to cry out in need of a saviour. This is what makes you turn to Jesus for help.

Friend, if you have never turned to Him to deliver you from your sin, you may not be saved. Most people only turn to Him for a miracle but not for their salvation from the power of sin. Turn to Him today and He will give you the ability to overcome the flesh and you will be saved. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from the power of sin.

“If you are not delivered from sin, you will not overcome it”.
