PROMOTION

PROMOTION Psalm 113:1-8 Devotional:- “He raises the poor out of the dust, And lifts the needy out of the ash heap” (v.7) NKJV Observe a joyful man, he will keep going up, and this is because joy makes room for the presence of God (Psalm 16:11). When God is available, He makes the joyful to inherit great places of the earth. We must understand the mystery of joy as affecting our level per time on the earth. In our scripture for today, God’s word says when a man is joyful and praiseful, God will set him on high among the princes. This is because a joyful heart accommodates praises, and where God is praised, God encompasses the place with favour (Psalm 22:3). Observe a happy man or woman; everyone wants to favour him/her. So when joy is available, it will move you to praise God, and your promotion is inevitable  The reason for your current level is directly proportional to your level of joy. If you want to go up, then increase in joy and praises (Isaiah 12:3). See, getting anno...

TURN TO GOD

TURN TO GOD

Hosea 6:1-3
Devotional:- “Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up” (V. 1) NKJV

Today, it is so challenging to identify who is a Christian. This is because there are so many mixed up. That is why you and I should examine ourselves to check if we are truly Christian. Those who are Christians are those you have turn to Christ for their salvation. All of us are attracted to Jesus by one thing or the other. One thing is to be attracted to Jesus another is to turn to Jesus.

To check your Christian life, you must at one time or the other turns to Jesus for your salvation. To turn to Jesus is to look unto Him as a saviour to save you (Hebrews 12:2).  To turn to Jesus is an act of realizing your sinful life and the consequences of it (Romans 3:23). This makes you see a need to be rescued from the punishment or consequences of sin. You must have realised your helpless experiences in that you want to stop sinning but you cannot help yourself. (Romans 7:18-25). This makes you to cry out in need of a saviour. This is what makes you turn to Jesus for help.

Friend, if you have never turned to Him to deliver you from your sin, you may not be saved. Most people only turn to Him for a miracle but not for their salvation from the power of sin. Turn to Him today and He will give you the ability to overcome the flesh and you will be saved. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from the power of sin.

“If you are not delivered from sin, you will not overcome it”.
