  OTHER gods Psalm 16:1-11 Devotional:- “Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.” (v.4) NKJV When people are caged in the spirit of idolatry. It will take God to deliver them. This spirit enslaves them in an endless journey of sorrow. They keep moving on in their wicked and painful sacrifices till they enter into their pit of regrets. This is because wickedness makes people seek the devil for a solution. It is either that they want spiritual aid for promotion, money, or power that they are not entitled to. Since they think that God’s way seems to be slow, they then turn to the devil for faster ways and evil results that look temporarily good. Sons of men need to know that the evil of “get it quick at all costs” is foolishness. GROWING IN THE LORD

Ephesians 4:7-16
But, speaking the truth in love may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ. (V. 15) NKJV

    Nothing is more exciting in life than growing. With growth come many good things of life. With growth comes wisdom, understanding and knowledge. With growth comes unspeakable joy that accompanies insight. When your eyes are open to the ways of progress in life, you feel on top of the world. You will be able to take dominion and be in charge of your life. The sense of I am in charge makes you a living being indeed.

A sign of a true believer is that he or she is ever growing. This growing grace is a product of our consistent fellowship with Jesus. It is the person you’re fellowshipping with that you look like. Our fellowship with God becomes quality when we daily meditate in the word of God. This is always better during a personal time with Him. In such times we have quality praises and prayers, the heaviness of heart is removed at such times, our eyes of understanding become brighter and we are increasing in understanding.

Friend, it is time you stop being a baby Christian. Growing up gives you all things. It is a new beginning for you. Receive grace. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, ignited the fire of growth in me.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
