  MY REFUGE Psalms 46:1-7 Devotional:- "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (V. 1) It is always very easy for men to say God is not good to them when they have a pressing need. But if you observe it carefully, wisdom will let you always appreciate Him. It is not every one that began this year that is still alive now. Many were faced with challenges greater than themselves and were swallowed up. If you listen to the reasons for their falls, they are not too great. The truth is that you also have passed through challenges greater than theirs, but God was your refuge. Anytime you run to Him, you will find a hiding place in Him. Even when it looks like the situation wants to swallow you, you still find strength for help in God. GROWING IN THE LORD

Ephesians 4:7-16
But, speaking the truth in love may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ. (V. 15) NKJV

    Nothing is more exciting in life than growing. With growth come many good things of life. With growth comes wisdom, understanding and knowledge. With growth comes unspeakable joy that accompanies insight. When your eyes are open to the ways of progress in life, you feel on top of the world. You will be able to take dominion and be in charge of your life. The sense of I am in charge makes you a living being indeed.

A sign of a true believer is that he or she is ever growing. This growing grace is a product of our consistent fellowship with Jesus. It is the person you’re fellowshipping with that you look like. Our fellowship with God becomes quality when we daily meditate in the word of God. This is always better during a personal time with Him. In such times we have quality praises and prayers, the heaviness of heart is removed at such times, our eyes of understanding become brighter and we are increasing in understanding.

Friend, it is time you stop being a baby Christian. Growing up gives you all things. It is a new beginning for you. Receive grace. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, ignited the fire of growth in me.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
