TRANSFORMED BY TROUBLE

TRANSFORMED BY TROUBLE 2 Corinthians 4:7-18 Devotional:- “For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” (V. 17) NLT  God has a purpose behind every problem. God depends more on circumstances to grow our character than reading the Bible; this is because we have challenging circumstances twenty four seven. The word of God made us to see challenges in our life as normal (1 Peter 4:18). Your deepest expression of worship is mostly in the darkest days. It is during suffering that we learn to pray our most authentic, heart-felt and honest prayers to God (James 5:16). God would have kept Jeremiah from the throne to the pit, Joseph from been thrown into the jail, Paul from been shipwrecked or the three Hebrew from been thrown into the fire but he left those problems to himself. You will never know that God is all you need until God is all you have.  Everything that happens to you has spir...

BUSINESS

BUSINESS

1 Thessalonians 4:9-12 NKJV
Devotional:- "that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you". (V. 11)

Every true believer should be involved in one business or the other. To us as believers doing business is a commandment and not a suggestion (Luke 19:13). It is important you know that doing business is solving problem. Doing business is contributing to the good of your nation and your family. Doing business is generating income for yourself to be a blessing to your family and the Kingdom of God. Doing business is building your value.

These are the reasons the Bible says he that does not work should not eat (2 Thessalonian 3:10). God hates idleness. If anyone is Idle, he or she is not taking steps of faith and not using the talents and the gift of God in his or her life to affect others. Stop waiting for your boss to give you assignment before you work. Be creative in that office. Create a work to effect the progress of your office. A true believer is responsible. A true believer is not a liability but a joy of nations (2 Thessalonian 3:7-8)

Friend, if you truly believe God then you should step out by faith to get involved in a profitable venture and stop complaining that things are hard, it is not new (1 Corinthians 10:13).  Stop living by borrowing from house to house. God wants to bless the work of your hands (Psalms 1:3). Step out and do business or work. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me the ability of a profitable servant
