  PARENT OF THE GREAT Exodus 2:1-10 Devotional:- “So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months..” (V. 2) NKJV. Anything you see that is great in life was incubated by some great people. If you can see anyone becoming great in life, you can easily trace the history back to the parents. I found something funny in this world: everyone wants their children to be great, but they don't bother to raise them for this purpose. People are wise enough to raise chickens for different purposes – some for laying eggs and some for consumption – but few are raising children with the purpose of leadership. We often expect the children to just grow and be great by luck or chance. If you observe great people in the Word of God, you can easily trace it back to their parents. This you can see in the lives of Isaiah, Joseph, David and others. I think it will be funny to sow maize and expect to reap yams. Moses, as we read today, was born...

DAILY TIME WITH GOD

Proverbs 8:32-36 NKJV
Devotional:- Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors. (V. 34)

    The true sign that you are changed onto God is that it will look like a crime to lose your daily time in personal fellowship with God. Your heart will always be there and you will be looking for the slightest opportunity to have a time with God. This is a sign of a revived soul.

These happens because your personal time with him is a time of deep revelation. it is a time of deep fellowship with God. It is a time of new discovery and immeasurable growth. It is a time you have personal time with God. Such time you can pour your heart, such time you can ask what you do not want others to hear, such time you can weep to Him and express yourself as you want. You will ask him question and He will answer you. The doubt of your heart will always be resolved. So you will always come out of personal fellowship with great joy and excitement. This is because your hope will be rekindled.

Friend, if you are not experiencing this then you are far from the Kingdom. Don’t give your children a future of hopelessness and confusion when they never see you happy with God. Receive grace peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart for your presence

“Precious things are revealed in light”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
