  LIFTING Psalms 75:1-10 Devotional:- “But God is the judge. He putteth down one and setteth up another.” (V. 7) KJV It is part of God’s act of love to lift up his own people. If you have a privilege be in an office, there is every tendency that you will want use your office to help and lift the people you love, so also is God. He is highly exalted. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the creator of heaven and earth. The bible calls Him the judge, in other word, He rules and decides the case of everyone in heaven and earth. So he is willing to lift you up as the one He loves. In the sovereignty of God, I have seen God demonstrating His love by lifting the unworthy. People like Joseph, David, Solomon, Paul the apostle and a host of others. If you as a child of God enjoy a status now it is part of His good gesture to you. And whatever level you are now, do not be discouraged, for He is still taking you higher. He took Joseph from the prison to the palace (Genesis 41:...

LOVING HIS PEOPLE

1 John 4:10-21
Devotional:- If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? (V. 20)

    You cannot be a true believer and hate the people of God. Before anyone shows up in the church by any means they come God love them. They are the reasons He went on the cross to die (John 3:16). So if for any reasons you hate them, the spirit of God is not in you (1 john 4:20).

This does not mean the people in church are perfect people. It only means because you are a true child of God, you have love as your lifestyle and nothing can change it. The spirit of God comes with the spirit of love (Romans 5:5). So you know you love the brethren by forgiving them by enduring with them, by tolerating them and caring for them.

Friend, if you love the brethren you will care and share with them. If you truly love the brethren you will not feel too big to come to their level and relate or serve God together. If you love the brethren you will always be happy to be in fellowship with them. If you love the brethren you will not backbite or do anything to harm them. Only these make you a true child of God. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, Plant the spirit of love in my heart.

“Only those who can love belong to God.”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
