SHARING YOUR FEELING

SHARING YOUR FEELING Hebrews 4:11-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have an high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness… (V. 15)” It is not always very easy for people to understand us, especially when we pass through challenges and are weak. Even those who want to understand and sympathise could get to a level and turn back. Sometimes, instead of people sympathising with us, they constitute a panel of judges and begin to point accusing fingers at us.  As part of the act of love of Jesus, the scripture we read today says, He sympathises with us in our situation. In other words, He knows exactly what you are going through, both the one you can explain and the one you cannot. He could feel exactly the way you feel. The Bible says, He has suffered as we do. Even if you are struggling with a weakness or a sin, He has also been in the flesh. He knows how painful your feelings are. He cannot reject you, and He identifies with you and still loves you. MONEY SUCCESS

MONEY SUCCESS

Luke 12:13-21
Devotional:- "And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” (V. 15)

Because of the leadership failure in this part of the world, success has been redefined as having money and materials. This is because what man cannot access will become his idol if he is not careful. So to us here, the moment you have a car or house you are successful not minding how you got it or what you use it for because many cannot afford it.

But this does not amount to success. A man can be in his own house and be hungry and be in great sorrows of lack. This wrong definition of success has turned many to fraudsters. And those who can’t do that have to live with the frustrated feeling of failure.

Friend, please deliver yourself from this trouble. Please get to know that true success is fulfilling what God sends you to do on earth. If success is by our definition then Jesus would have been a failure. Because he never rent a house (Matthew 8:20), he never had an automobile of his days (Mark 11:1-3). His assignment couldn’t even allow him to get married or have children. And he died at 30 years of age but who else is as successful as Jesus in this world? Because, He fulfilled his purpose for living. Discover your own purpose and pursue it and you will be fulfilled. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, lead me to my true success.

“Money success is the mistake of this generation to miserable life”
