DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. LOVING THE LORD

LOVING THE LORD

JOHN 14:19-24
Devotional:-''Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him". (V. 23).

It is important that we as believers truly love the Lord. It is only those who love the Lord that will enjoy the best of God. Do not be part of Christians who handles the things of God carelessly. No one can stay at a distance and enjoy the best of relationship. Therefore, you truly need to grow your love for God if you are His child. God's word says the way to demonstrate our love for Him is to be obedient to His word. You must not love anything in this world more than God (1 John 2:15). When it comes to obeying His instructions, you have no choice. When it comes to doing God's assignment, you have no option.

If you have not grown up in the Lord to this level, you are considered a baby and a lukewarm Christian before the Lord (Rev. 3:16). It is only those who love Him that can enjoy His manifest presence. They are the ones who can enjoy the best of God. (Isaiah 1:19-20). They are the ones that have strong hope in Christ (Romans 8: 28-30). It is only those who truly love Him that will have greater harvest for their giving. Ask God for a heart of love for Him and He will give you.

Prayer: Lord, give me a true heart of love for you.

“UNTIL YOU TRULY LOVE GOD YOU CANNOT ACCESS THE REALM OF HIS GLORY"
