THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. LOVING THE LORD

LOVING THE LORD

JOHN 14:19-24
Devotional:-''Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him". (V. 23).

It is important that we as believers truly love the Lord. It is only those who love the Lord that will enjoy the best of God. Do not be part of Christians who handles the things of God carelessly. No one can stay at a distance and enjoy the best of relationship. Therefore, you truly need to grow your love for God if you are His child. God's word says the way to demonstrate our love for Him is to be obedient to His word. You must not love anything in this world more than God (1 John 2:15). When it comes to obeying His instructions, you have no choice. When it comes to doing God's assignment, you have no option.

If you have not grown up in the Lord to this level, you are considered a baby and a lukewarm Christian before the Lord (Rev. 3:16). It is only those who love Him that can enjoy His manifest presence. They are the ones who can enjoy the best of God. (Isaiah 1:19-20). They are the ones that have strong hope in Christ (Romans 8: 28-30). It is only those who truly love Him that will have greater harvest for their giving. Ask God for a heart of love for Him and He will give you.

Prayer: Lord, give me a true heart of love for you.

“UNTIL YOU TRULY LOVE GOD YOU CANNOT ACCESS THE REALM OF HIS GLORY"
