DELIGHT IN THE WORD

DELIGHT IN THE WORD Psalm 119:97-104         Devotional:- “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (v.103) NKJV One of the greatest strengths of joy is the Word of God. The truth is that man’s life is a product of the information that he always listen to. If a man always hears about wickedness, he will be wicked. If a man keeps hearing sorrowful news, he will keep having sorrow. But for those who will always commune in the word of God, they will keep their joy by the word of God. This is because the word of God is good news; it’s the joyful news. There is no way you will give yourself to regular drinking from the word of God; that joy will not be produced regularly in you. The word is a sure source of joy. The psalmist says God’s word is sweet not only to him but also to everyone who loves it. MANIFEST

MANIFEST

Acts 10:34-43
Devotional:- "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him". (V. 38)

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve experienced the Shekinah (manifest presence) glory of God. Some believers today wonder how wonderful events take place in the life of other believers than themselves. Sometimes, they think it is because they are more prayerful, but that is not so. What makes the difference is the presence of God.

We are the temple of the living God because the Holy Spirit dwells in us (1 Corinthians 3:16). Yet beyond this indwelling is the experience of Shekinah which makes the presence of God to manifest even in the atmosphere around you. Under such atmosphere, anything wonderful can happen. May you experience such from now. Under this presence of God, a man of God only decrees or lift up his hand and people in the big hall who are far at the back are healed. To experience this, start to obey the Holy Spirit, and develop an attitude of worship (John 14:23). It’s your turn to see His glory.

Prayer: Lord, let your manifest presence be with me.

“When God is truly present, anything is possible”.
