  JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

COURAGE 

Joshua 1:1-9
Devotional:- Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. (V. 6)

    No one can be a victor without being courageous. Courage is the act of bracing up to confront what is confronting you. It is the ability to do what is frightening you; it is being brave to stand against what is standing against you. It is an energy from the heart to make you stand to face the danger or difficulties.

Courage is said to be mental energy but you need to know that the energy of your mind is supplied from the spirit (Job 32:8). Courage comes when a spirited information is given to you to inspire you. It is not all information that come to us that builds us strong but only the one that comes by the spirit. It is meditation that converts the spiritual information to mental energy. That is why God said to Joshua to always meditate on the word of God (Joshua 1:8)

Friend, it is time to take responsibility to grow your courage in God, this is by daily meditating on the word of God. There are many lands God still wants you to conquer, there are territories God still want you to takeover, it will take courage to arise and do it. Don’t keep watching time passing away, take courage and move. God will strengthen you.

Prayer: Lord by your word, let courage grow in me.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
