THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. HELMET OF SALVATION

HELMET OF SALVATION

Isaiah 59:8-21
Devotional:- For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, And was clad with zeal as a cloak. (V. 17) NKJV

God is a victorious God. So when a man is adopted into son ship with God, the spirit of victory enters in to him. This is what a man receives at new birth. God’s word says as many as believe in Him He gave them power to become the sons of God (John 1:12). The power of God that makes a man to become a child of God comes with this strength for victory. So God's word says whatsoever is born of God wins (1 John 5:4).

For the fact that a child of God is looking defeated, does not remove the fact that is a victor. The ability for victory is within him but if it is not activated, he’s to be blamed (Hosea 4:6). That is why you as a Christian must understand that your birth in Christ enlist you for victory but you must arise to work out your salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).

This is done by growing your faith life. This is growing your God’s nature life. It is becoming strong in the Lord. This is living in the consciousness of your new family. Never look down on your new personality, this must fill your mind and you declare it everywhere. “I am a child of God” and your life will be secure.

Prayer: Lord, established me in your son-ship

“VICTORY CAN BE THROUGH INHERITANCE”.
