HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

TRUE STRENGTH

TRUE STRENGTH

Psalm 119:125-131
Devotional:- The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. (V. 130)

No one can be victorious without strength but there are different types of strength. The actual strength of life is what makes you strong enough that you cannot but take action. It is called illumination of your soul the and Bible refer to it as understanding. When it comes you cannot but arise (Isaiah 60:1).

It is the absence of this light that makes people slow, sluggish or unwilling to act. King David was a man with unusual strength from the Lord for victory. He could trace his strength to illumination of his soul by the word of God. When light penetrate your heart, you will be strong to act. This light is by the word of the spirit, the word of God (John 6:63). It makes you wiser than barriers (Psalm 119:98). It makes you intelligent to succeed (Job 29:1-3). It is the dawn of an in formation over your heart.

Friend, give yourself to meditation in the world of God. Any information you give yourself to meditating on will delivers its strength to your mind either good or bad. This is the true strength of life (Joshua 1:8). When you give yourself to meditating in the word of God, you will always be strong to win.

Prayer: Lord give me a heart for your word

‘Light always ignite energy’
