  GREATEST FATHER John 20:11-18 “Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” (V.17) NKJV   Though there is a great number of males in the world today, there are few true fathers. Men who can be referred to as good fathers are rare. This is the reason for the breeding of terrible children in today's homes. Many children don’t even know what it is to have a father. That is why when God is referred to as our father, it does not interest some of us in any form. We only look at Him as one of those absentee fathers in the world. In the scripture we read today, Jesus died and resurrected again and purchased us back to God by His blood. The first person He met after His resurrection was Mary Magdalene. SWORD OF THE SPIRIT

Hebrew 4:11-32
Devotional:- “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (V. 12) NKJV

  The sword is an important weapon of battle. It is a major weapon your enemy sees and get scared. They know that with it, you can kill and totally overcome. A sword is too delicate to play with. So those who go to war know that it is very important. It will therefore be delicate as a Christian that you live your life in this world of battles without a sword.

The Bible says, the word of God is the sword of the spirit. Don’t forget we are not fighting with flesh and blood. So we are not talking about physical sword (2 Corinthians 10:4). Through it, you can totally put your enemy off your way. This is by taking it as you take the sword. When a warrior takes the sword, he swings it to kill the enemy. So also as a Christian, when you take the word of God, you are saying it should act like a sword to all that is against you. Nothing can escape it. (Joel 2:3)

You therefore need to start to see God’s word as the Bible says it. If it is released through your mouth by faith, your enemies are in trouble. Start to use this weapon from now and your victory shall be established. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, put your word in my mouth

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
