DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. SEE THE WAY

SEE THE WAY

Revelations 3:7-13
Devotional:- See I have said before you an open door and no man can shut it. (V. 8)

Several times when the children of God pray for open door, they should rather pray for the opening of their eyes (Ephesians 1:17-18). Many people are suffering in the midst of plenty, someone said gold is everywhere but few open their eyes to see it.  Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life… (John 14:6). Jesus has the key of David and that is unfailing key, the master key (Rev. 3:7). He said he has kept an open door before you. This means the door you have been praying for has been opened. He said there is no temptation without the way of escape. It means in this very situation, God has made a way to escape to peace and prosperity.

What we need therefore is to ask God to open our eyes in the spirit to see what God has done for us. That door looked closed because you have allowed the situation to deprogram your mind to see a close door. There are many opportunities around you but pride, arrogance and ignorance have closed your eyes (2 Corinthians 4:4). Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God for your lifting (1 Peter 5:6). Always be obedient and faithful to God’s word and you shall access your portion this Year. In this special day of Christmas the eyes of your understanding shall be opened in Jesus name.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, teach me meekness for my rising

“THE ONLY  CLOSED DOOR IS THE ONE IN YOUR MIND”.
