KINDNESS Hebrews 13:1-9 Devotional:- “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels” (v.2) NKJV The season we are in is a season of strangers, and close friends will come to locate you. You will find many in need of your assistance. God’s words teach us to be of assistance to such people. Even though we live in a very dangerous and delicate world, where so many unbelievable atrocities have been committed. Yet it does not mean we should completely neglect the instruction of this part of the scripture. We only need to obey God with wisdom. We are not to turn people away sharply; we only need to learn to discern what kind of people are coming around us. We also need to be wise not to disclose or open our hidden places to strangers. But I need to let you know that God honour those who honour strangers. If you read the bible, you will discover God has a special interest in widows, orphans and strangers. SEE THE WAY

SEE THE WAY

Revelations 3:7-13
Devotional:- See I have said before you an open door and no man can shut it. (V. 8)

Several times when the children of God pray for open door, they should rather pray for the opening of their eyes (Ephesians 1:17-18). Many people are suffering in the midst of plenty, someone said gold is everywhere but few open their eyes to see it.  Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life… (John 14:6). Jesus has the key of David and that is unfailing key, the master key (Rev. 3:7). He said he has kept an open door before you. This means the door you have been praying for has been opened. He said there is no temptation without the way of escape. It means in this very situation, God has made a way to escape to peace and prosperity.

What we need therefore is to ask God to open our eyes in the spirit to see what God has done for us. That door looked closed because you have allowed the situation to deprogram your mind to see a close door. There are many opportunities around you but pride, arrogance and ignorance have closed your eyes (2 Corinthians 4:4). Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God for your lifting (1 Peter 5:6). Always be obedient and faithful to God’s word and you shall access your portion this Year. In this special day of Christmas the eyes of your understanding shall be opened in Jesus name.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, teach me meekness for my rising

“THE ONLY  CLOSED DOOR IS THE ONE IN YOUR MIND”.
