APPLE OF HIS EYE

APPLE OF HIS EYE Zechariah 2:4-13 Devotional:- “...for he who touches you touches the apple or pupil of His eye” (V. 8) AMPL      One of the most honourable and highly protected parts of our body is our eye. It is highly protected because of its importance and delicacy. The eye is the light of the body (Matthew 6:22, Luke 11:34). A man without sight is blocked without light. He will need to learn to see with the inner eye. Because of the importance of the eye, everyone takes time to wash it with all care and caution. When things are coming against it, wise people will always avoid it. When something little enters the eye, we become restless until it is removed. The truth is that you cannot allow anyone to touch your eye. It is a reflex action for you to close it at such times.

REDEMPTIVE RIGHT

REDEMPTIVE RIGHT

Galatians 3:10-14 Devotional:- “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree””(V. 13)

We were redeemed with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20). The price of our redemption is the blood which is the life of Christ (Leviticus 17:11). That is why you and I should not just put our redemption aside and go on with our lives. The word of God says we should always declare it (Psalms 107:2)

Our redemption has given us so many rights and privileges in life. Our redemption has taken us from the realm of darkness to light (1 Peter 2:9), it has saved us (Ephesians 1:7), it has broken the power of curses (Galatians 3:13), it has remove us from the camp of the enemy to the camp of God (Revelations 5:9), it has made us to be rulers over all powers (Revelations 5:10).

Friend, it is important you have all of this in mind, it is important you believe and set your mind on this, it is important you live your life in this light. That way no power of the enemy will be able to torment you. That way you will walk tall in your victory and reject anything that is not yours

Prayer: Lord, help me to live with the consciousness of my redemption.
