DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. VICTORY MENTALITY

VICTORY MENTALITY

1 Samuel 17:31-40
Devotional:- Moreover David said, “The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the LORD be with you!” (V. 37)

No one can be better than the quality of his/her mind. That is why you and I need the victory mentality. I have met some people who have defeat mentality, they believe in the power of the enemy than the power of their God. They always celebrate their enemy above their God.

Young David told Saul, the king, my God has been with me while I face the lion and the bear. I know that God is still with me. This was the convincing strength for David while facing Goliath.

Victory mentality is your conclusion based on the word of God. If you want to have victory mentality, you must stop meditating on what people are saying about life or your experience of failure.

Friend, when you change your mind, you change your life. Stop accepting defeat thoughts in your mind. Stop hearing defeat messages, it will only create fear and failure (Job 3:25). Start to meditate on the word of God and not on your tradition. Whatever you keep meditating on will deliver its strength to your mind (Joshua 1:8). Build the mentality of the word of God and your victory shall come.

Prayer: Lord, help me to build a new mind-set of victory.
