DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. CERTAINTY OF VICTORY

CERTAINTY OF VICTORY

John 16:18-33
Devotional:- "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (V. 33)

As children of the most high God, we have the certainty of victory over the contending force that are against our lives. You are not the one who made yourself and the one who made you know the challenges you will have to face. He made you to fulfil a destiny on earth and your success is His success. That is why you cannot fail.

Most people all through life have defeated experiences. Many are never able to fulfil their destiny. To terminate that evil story, Jesus came to defeat the enemy for us. He went on the cross to complete the battle (John 19:30).  He defeated the forces of the enemy (Colossians 2:15). He removed all that is written against you (Colossians 2:14) He then established the covenant of your victory (1 John 5:4).

Friend, Jesus has done all that needs to be done to establish you in victory. He defeated all the forces of wickedness that could ever be against your destiny and took all their power. All power now belongs to Him (Matthew 28:18). He has also made all the power for your victory available to you (Luke 10:19).  All you need to do is to cooperate with Him by faith in the finished work of the cross and your victory shall be established in Jesus name.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always agree with your word for my victory
