  LOOKING UNTO HIM Psalms 34:1-7 Devotional:- “They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed” (V. 5) NKJV To enjoy the love of God for us, we must learn to keep looking unto Him. The scripture says, they looked unto him and were not ashamed. No one trusts in Him who will be ashamed at the end. It is amazing that Joseph, whom they sold as a slave, eventually became a ruler. Because that is God’s plan for Him (Genesis 45:1-9). Amazingly, Abraham, who had no children for almost a hundred years, at last became the father of eight children before he died (Genesis 25:1-2, 9). These are proofs of God’s faithfulness. Because He also has a plan for each of us, He does not want us to be discouraged or frustrated, but rather to keep looking unto Him. This is because He has a plan for us, and it shall surely come to pass. That is why He said, "I know the plans that I have for you; they are not of evil, but good, to give you a hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). H...

OVERCOMING SELF-DEFEAT

2 Samuel 11:1-8 
Then David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her, for she was cleansed from her impurity; and she returned to her house. (V. 4)

    Victory in life always begins from the heart. Everyone who wants to win in life must therefore first overcome self defeat.  This is a mentality that put people down. These are mentality that makes people feel that they cannot make it or overcome. This is a mentality that intimidate and always attempting to beat a person down.

Self-defeat mentality is a mind-set that put people down whenever they want to rise. It can be attitude or habits they have given themselves to and it is set for their destruction. Every ungodly attitude or habits are all targeted for the defeat of their victim. Until you overcome them, they will keep your life and destiny under check.

David the king did not deal with his self-defeat attitude. These are sins that can bring down. They will always be there for defeat. Friend, sins of lying, fornication, unfaithfulness, drunkenness, smoking, covetousness, greed etc., are secret sins that will always bring life to public shame overtime. If you find these weaknesses you need to confront them that they may not destroy you. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, give me the courage to conquer defeat attitude in my life

‘Right attitude cultivated we give you victory over wrong one’.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
