  GOOD REPORT   Proverbs 15:28-33 Devotional:- “The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, And a good report makes the bones healthy” (v.30) NKJV Today, in the whole world, the only kind of news celebrated by men is bad news. The reporters have also realised that people want bad news. So, they hardly report good things. If you listen to the news, read from the media or browse through the net, it is all about evil things happening all over the world. This is the trick of the enemy to cage the sons of men into sorrow and break the flow of joy in the lives of the people. The scripture we read today says, “good report makes the heart glad”. You must recognise the principle of a joyful life. It is a product of regular joyful reports (Proverbs 25:25). It is what you love to hear that your life will look like (Mark 4:24). you must know you are a product of what you are hearing. POWER OF DISCIPLESHIP   

Acts 4:5-13
Devotional:-“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus” (v.13) NKJV


   After Jesus had ascended to heaven, the disciples received the Holy Spirit and they were witnessing for Jesus everywhere. Because of a notable miracle; they were called to question by the rulers. There, they noticed their boldness and courage and observed they have been with Jesus.

Something of noteworthy is that, these disciples were not educated or exposed, but they traced their life to Jesus. If they were not properly discipled by Jesus, it will not be so. By the way Jesus had discipled them, they were as bold as Jesus and this is because they now have the spirit of Jesus. They were able to stand in the will of God and uphold the gospel to the end of their life. They were willing to die for the gospel of Jesus because they were well discipled for Christ.

Friend, if you will not turn back from Christ because of situation around and make eternity with Christ, then choose to grow as a disciple of Jesus. Refuse to be an ordinary church member. Take time to grow by knowing the Lord (Daniel 11:32). Let your children and spouse know the Lord. They will not grow up to trouble you. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, make me and my home to be disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
