  SPECIAL CHILDREN Proverbs 23:15-25  Devotional:- “Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the LORD all the day” (V.17) NKJV Today, the lives of children in most nations are becoming a great trouble. Many parents have lost control of their children. But in the midst of these hopeless situations of the future generation, yet some children allow the word of God to rule their lives, such children have the fear of God in them. These are children who keep a wise heart and who have learnt the right use of their lips. Who don’t open their lip to speak just anything but the truth and wisdom (Proverbs 23:16). These are children who don’t envy the way of sin, nor do they get themselves involved in the sinful nature of this generation. Rather, they fear the Lord, and this affects everything they do (Proverbs 23:17). STEADFASTNESS     

Act 2:40-47
Devotional:-“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers” (vs. 42) NKJV 


    Today, our decisions to follow the Lord is greatly challenged by temptations of different types. The devil has so much polluted the world that it is so easy to follow the way of sin and unrighteousness. That is why to be an ordinary Christian today is to be no Christian at all. 

Those who have chosen to be disciples of Christ must be steadfast in following the master. To be steadfast is to be resolute to stand in the will of God even if nobody does. To be steadfast is to be firm no matter the intimidation of friends. It is to make up your mind to follow the Lord notwithstanding of any situation or circumstances.

Friend your decision to be a disciple of Jesus will be tested by people with negative influences. Be ready to be dishonored to bring honour to the Lord. You must have a strong resolution to remain in Christ whatever the case may be. Remember, Jesus has promised to help us by the Holy Spirit that is in us. Stand firm in the word of God and you will be a true disciple of Christ (Ephesians 6:13-14). Peace!

Prayer: Lord, strengthen me in the inner man to always stand for you

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
