  PEACE John 14:19-31  Devotional:- “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (27) NKJV Peace has been the desire of every nation and tribe. Even the United Nations (UN) is set up for peacemaking in the world. But the more the world seeks peace, the less they have it. This is because man cannot give peace. Until the world embraces the Prince of Peace, her peace may not be established. Though we are in the world, we are not of the world. The love of Christ for us has given us peace. He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). The world does not know this because they are not of his own. Peace is a product of the love of God for you. If you don’t have it, receive it from today. This peace begins in our heart, and it goes on to affect everything around us. Since the world does not have it within, they cannot manifest it. Jesus said, He has given you His peace. FRUIT BEARING   

John 15: 1-8
Devotional:- “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples” (v.8) NKJV


    We can identify a disciple by the fruit he bears (Matthew 7:20). A disciple of Jesus will live, talk and behave like Jesus. This is an evidence that he is following His master. Your life is a reflection of the person you are following. Your relationship determines your life and way of life. 

  Jesus said we must be in close relationship with Him to be His disciple. The word of God said, we need to abide in Him (John 15:4). This is an intimate relationship that makes us to accurately emulate the master. Anyone cannot be in a very close relationship with Jesus and not be able to bear the same fruit with Jesus. (Proverbs 13: 20). To abide in Jesus, we have to abide in His words (John 9:31)

Please understand that, we, bearing Christian names does not make us Christian. Jesus said, by their fruits you shall know them (Matt 7: 20) These fruits are the life style of those who are following the master. They are the fruit of the spirit (Gala 5: 21) In John 15:8, Jesus said, it is only when our lives bear the fruits of the spirit, that we can be called the disciple of Jesus (John 8:31). This means, each of us can measure if we are of Christ or not. Take time to keep close relationship with the word of God and the people of God. It is then you will begin to bear the fruit of Christ. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, make me a fruit bearing Christian. 

"YOUR FRUIT IS DETERMINED BY YOUR DEEP RELATIONSHIP"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
