  MEEKNESS Numbers 12:1-10 Devotional:- “(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)” (v.3) NKJV A great virtue that will help a man sustain a life of joy is meekness. This is an act of being gentle and ready to accept instructions and corrections. This is an act of not being willing to struggle with God but to easily submit to His will. Jesus said this kind of people will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). This is because they will always be willing to take instruction and correction. Sometimes correction or discipline of love could be harsh or strong, but a meek person has the fortitude to bear it and rejoice at it because he knows that such will always get him better and stronger. The meek are willing to wait to receive the help of God. He is simple when it comes to accepting the will of God. To him, God is always good, which makes him ever thankful and joyful. FRUIT BEARING   

John 15: 1-8
Devotional:- “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples” (v.8) NKJV


    We can identify a disciple by the fruit he bears (Matthew 7:20). A disciple of Jesus will live, talk and behave like Jesus. This is an evidence that he is following His master. Your life is a reflection of the person you are following. Your relationship determines your life and way of life. 

  Jesus said we must be in close relationship with Him to be His disciple. The word of God said, we need to abide in Him (John 15:4). This is an intimate relationship that makes us to accurately emulate the master. Anyone cannot be in a very close relationship with Jesus and not be able to bear the same fruit with Jesus. (Proverbs 13: 20). To abide in Jesus, we have to abide in His words (John 9:31)

Please understand that, we, bearing Christian names does not make us Christian. Jesus said, by their fruits you shall know them (Matt 7: 20) These fruits are the life style of those who are following the master. They are the fruit of the spirit (Gala 5: 21) In John 15:8, Jesus said, it is only when our lives bear the fruits of the spirit, that we can be called the disciple of Jesus (John 8:31). This means, each of us can measure if we are of Christ or not. Take time to keep close relationship with the word of God and the people of God. It is then you will begin to bear the fruit of Christ. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, make me a fruit bearing Christian.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
