VALUE YOURSELF 1 Peter 2:1-10  Devotional:- “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (V. 9) NKJV If anyone is going to enjoy the love of God, he must see himself as lovely. One of the ways for someone to see themselves as lovely is by valuing themselves. You need to know that of all the creatures of God, not only on earth but also in heaven, you are the most special. According to the word of God, there is no other creature that is as valuable as you are. You are the reason for the labour of the devil (1 Peter 5:8). You are the envy of the demons. You are the envy of the angels. A great percentage of the angels are serving the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). The scripture we read today calls you a chosen one. That is, among the multitude, God selected you out for Himself. You are a royal priesthood, that is, you are a kingly priest...

LOVING GOD SUPREMELY

Matthew 10: 34- 39
Devotional:-“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me” (v.37) NKJV


   Living in love demand that we take good care of people around us. But there is a new dimension to love that God introduces to us in the scripture we read today. This is by loving God above all other persons. 
To love God supremely is to choose to do His will when there is a clash of interest between loving people and God. It means we have to choose to love God above all other persons. Many people live in the bondage of people's opinion. But we must live in God’s opinion. This is the reason why you don't allow anyone to come between you and God. You must ask for the wisdom of God to handle this when it is between God and your parents or spouse, your boss or senior ones. Any spirit directing you contrary to the word of God is not of God. You must learn to love God above all. A woman may have parents, but she should know that she must submit to her husband above them to keep her home intact (Ephesians 5:22-24). So also, we must obey Jesus to keep our God. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me the wisdom and courage to make you first

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
