  OTHER gods Psalm 16:1-11 Devotional:- “Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.” (v.4) NKJV When people are caged in the spirit of idolatry. It will take God to deliver them. This spirit enslaves them in an endless journey of sorrow. They keep moving on in their wicked and painful sacrifices till they enter into their pit of regrets. This is because wickedness makes people seek the devil for a solution. It is either that they want spiritual aid for promotion, money, or power that they are not entitled to. Since they think that God’s way seems to be slow, they then turn to the devil for faster ways and evil results that look temporarily good. Sons of men need to know that the evil of “get it quick at all costs” is foolishness. SURRENDER TO GOD

Romans 6:1-14
Devotional:- “And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God” (v. 13) NKJV


     The word surrender looks too foolish to the language in the world. The language of the word is the language of winning, succeed, don't give up or overcoming. But we can only be disciples of Jesus when we surrender to Him (Romans 12:1). We don't surrender to God with a sense of fear or duty but with heart of love (1 John4:9-10,19). 

  We often don't surrender to God because we don't realize how much God loves us. So, we always want to control our own life. For us to be able to surrender to God, we must be able to trust Him, then we can trust our life into His loving hands. We must also admit our limitations and weaknesses, then we can trust in His help.

  Surrendering does not mean giving up rational thinking, but it is demonstrated in obedience to God, no matter what. It means to trust Him to be faithful to His promises (Hebrews 10:23). It means waiting patiently for Him (Psalm 37:7) It means not rushing to defend yourself or react to criticism. Everyone eventually surrenders to something: it can be submitting to people’s opinion or expectations, money, fear, pride, inferiority complex, lust, or ego. But a true disciple of Christ will surrender to God in all things. That is when we can be like Him. Peace!

Prayer- Lord, help me to totally surrender to you in all things.

“HE WHO DOES NOT SURRENDER TO God, HAS TO SURRENDER TO AN IDOL”.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
